Ingredients for Your Coconut Foot Mask

This is a pretty simple coconut foot mask. To make a coconut foot mask, you will need:

  • 3 tablespoons of coconut oil (virgin)
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • A glass mason jar
  • A plastic bag or saran wrap

Step 1: Melt Down Your Honey and Coconut Oil

Before you apply this recipe to your feet, you will need to melt down the coconut oil and honey for easier mixing and application. Get a small pan and a glass mason jar. Fill the pan with water and get it to simmer. Then put your honey and coconut oil in the glass jar. Put the jar over the pan and let it heat up a bit. You want to stir the honey and coconut mixture. Once it is mixed well, let it sit and cool down.

Step 2: Put Your Homemade Foot Mask on Your Feet

When you are ready, apply the foot mask to your cracked feet. Put a generous amount of the mixture on your feet. Then individually wrap saran wrap over your feet (or plastic bags). Don’t try to walk with the foot mask on or plastic wrap on your feet, it will be slippery. You can keep this mask on as long as you want.

Some people choose to keep their feet soaked in the coconut honey foot mask for half an hour. But if you want, you can keep this mask on overnight, just make sure your feet are properly wrapped up so the honey and oil don’t leak all over your bed.

Step 3: Rinse Your Feet off

Once you are done with your DIY coconut mask, you can take off the saran wrap or bag. Remove the plastic carefully, remove any excess with a few paper towels, then wash your feet off in warm water. We recommend doing this in your tub so there is less of a mess.

You can do a foot soak after this to fully get rid of the sticky honey, but this is entirely up to you. Finally, get a towel and make sure to dry your feet thoroughly.
